Our range of treated sawn timber at Selco
Treated timber, also known as Tanalised timber or treated wood, is a type of timber that has been dried and cut to a desired length before being pressure treated with preservative chemicals. This process makes the wood more durable and long-lasting, meaning it’s less likely to rot or split, and protects it against insects and fungi. This makes our treated timber especially ideal for outdoor projects too.
Our range of sawn treated timber is available in a variety of common sizes suited to a variety of different construction applications, ranging from roof batten, 3x2 timber, 4x2 timber and up to 9x3. We have both C16 and C24 strength graded timber joists.
Our Easi Edge timber is pressure treated timber, making it a great choice for projects that require extra strength and durability. Much of our timber is also kiln dried to remove moisture content, making it more stable, lightweight, and easy to work with. All our timber materials are responsibly sourced from well-managed forests.
