MF Ceiling System
More information about MF Ceiling System
What is an MF ceiling system?
An MF (metal frame) ceiling system features metal components to create a suspended ceiling frame that plasterboard can be fixed to. A MF ceiling system features three components: ceiling channels (MF5), perimeter channels (MF6A) and primary channels (MF7). Also known as an MF suspended ceiling or an MF plasterboard ceiling, it is a framework made of channels and cross tees to form grids that ceiling tiles or panels can fit into.
An MF ceiling offers many advantages including creating a uniform, neat appearance for your suspended ceiling while hiding away unsightly electrical wires, insulation, pipes and other structural components. It also provides access to the space between the main ceiling for easier maintenance and repairs.
