At Selco, our bulk bags weigh between 750kg-850kg, but this can vary depending on moisture content. The aggregates will always vary in weight, size and colour due to regional variations as all our aggregates are sourced from local quarries.
How many 25kg bags are in a bulk bag?
This depends on the weight of the bulk bag. An 800kg bulk bag will contain roughly the same amount of aggregate as 32 x 25kg bags.
Is a bulk bag 1 tonne?
No – our bulk bags usually weigh slightly less than a tonne, at around 800kg depending on moisture content and regional variations.
How much does a bulk bag of aggregate cover?
This entirely depends on the type of aggregate and the exact weight of the bulk bag. For example, an 800kg bulk bag of 20mm gravel at a depth of 40-50mm will cover approximately 11m².
