                  To ensure the structural integrity of your latest roofing project, you’ll need to use some good quality roof timber. We have a mix of roofing timber available to browse at Selco, with stacks of stock available both in our branches or online.

                  What types of roof timber do we have available?

                  We have some graded roof battens that are an excellent choice for supporting roof tiles and slates, and come with a 60-year service life. Graded roofing battens are treated roof timbers that have been graded and stamped in accordance with the British Standard BS5534 to confirm their compliance with NHBC requirements.

                  We also stock sawn treated timber in various sizes ranging from 6x2 all the way up to 9x3 for larger roof structures. Our Sawn Treated Easi Edge timber is machined C24 strength graded timber that is kiln dried to remove excess moisture. Because it is machined, the timber has smoothed edges that make it easier to work with.

                  So whether you’re building a structure to act as the foundation of your roofing project, or even if you’re creating a rustic wood plank roof, we’re sure you’ll find the roof timber that you need to get the job done.
