Incised fence posts are specially treated to withstand contact with the elements and prevent the advance of damp and rot. These timbers have multiple incisions cut into them before and after treatment, allowing preservatives to penetrate deeply into the timber. These incised fence posts are treated to Use Class 4, for direct use with soil or water.
