Flooring Adhesives

Flooring adhesive is a crucial part of the application process when it comes to several types of flooring materials. Floor coverings such as hardwood, carpet, vinyl and laminate will require adhesive to make sure they’re securely attached to the subfloor. This will not only ensure a smooth, level and high-quality finish to your flooring and elevate its appearance, but it will also make sure the flooring is safe and secure to walk over – nobody wants to trip over uneven planks or carpet tile corners that might be sticking up if they’re not glued down properly.

Carpet adhesive

Whether you’re installing a brand-new carpet or just replacing a damaged carpet tile, you’ll need some high-quality and high-strength carpet glue. The right carpet adhesive glue will provide strong and long-lasting adhesion and stability that contributes to the overall lifespan of the carpet itself. Adhesives can come in tubs that require manual pouring and spreading, or as easy-to-use sprays. EVO-STIK carpet adhesive spray is a ready-to-use carpet glue spray that can be sprayed directly from the can. Spray cans are also a great option if you’re looking for a carpet tile adhesive to fix down a loose edge or corner on a carpet tile.

Vinyl / LVT / laminate floor adhesive

If you’re installing laminate, vinyl or LVT flooring, you might not need any adhesive depending on the way the flooring is designed. A lot of laminate and LVT, for example, will feature interlocking boards that simply click together and require no adhesive.
