Darts fans get chance to do battle with stars at Selco

Three of the leading names in darts will take to the oche for special challenges against fans at two of our branches next week.

Rising star Ryan Searle, the world number 16, and 2008 BDO World Champion and current Sky Sports pundit Mark Webster will visit our Exeter branch on Tuesday, April 26 between 10am and noon.

The event will form part of the celebrations to mark the opening of the Exeter branch, which will be based on Filmer Way in Marsh Barton.

On the same day, World Championship runner-up and Premier League star Michael Smith will be appearing at Selco Liverpool, on Galgate Drive in Bootle, between 10am and 11.30am.

At both events, members of the public are invited to come along to the branches to take on the players in special nine-dart challenges for the chance to win spot prizes.

Carine Jessamine, marketing director of Selco, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting Michael, Ryan and Mark across two branches in what will be an exciting day at Selco to celebrate us being official partners of the PDC.

“Michael proved at the World Championship what a talented player he is and will be a real attraction in Liverpool.

“The darts activity will be a big part of our celebrations on the opening day in Exeter. Ryan has broken into the top 16 players in the world and Mark is a household name in the sport, both from his playing career and his television appearances.

“There is no need to book for either event – just visit either Selco branch for what will be fun and exciting events.”
