DIMI AND DAMON MAKE LEICESTER DARTS APPEARANCE

Our Leicester branch on Parker Street will be a must-visit for darts fans on Monday, October 2, with a special appearance from two of the world’s top players to mark the return of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix to the city.

Premier League star Dimitri Van den Bergh and Australian ace Damon Heta, a World Cup winner, will appear at our Leicester branch between 9.30am and 11am.

Darts fans will be given the chance to meet the pair – who are both in the top 15 in the world rankings - and go head-to-head with them in special nine-dart challenges, with prizes up for grabs including tickets for the World Grand Prix, which runs from Monday to Sunday at the Morningside Arena.

Belgian star Van den Bergh said: “The World Grand Prix is always a fantastic week and it will be special to meet the fans at the event on Monday morning.

“We are looking forward to attending Selco Leicester and taking on the branch’s colleagues and customers, as well as members of the general public.”

Former Brisbane Darts Masters winner Heta said: “It would be great to see loads of darts fans on Monday and I’d encourage anyone in the local area who is a fan to come down.

“It’s sure to be a very fun morning and it will give Dimitri and I some useful practice ahead of our first round matches on Tuesday.”
